Watched Ghajini today. Movie is intense. Aamir brilliant. Asin ok kinds. Length from 3 hour 10 min could be reduced to 2.30 by cutting useless songs and few scenes. Direction shoddy at places. Raw and nice action. Villain sucks.but tamil Ghajini is better than this in the case of song seans and all.
Before watching Gajini, everyone should watch Memento, brilliantly executed. it seems to be "inspired" from memento. Overall good one time watch. Loved Aamir's physique. |

Eighteen year old Jamal Malik is having an amazing answering streak on the Indian version of the television game show, "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire". He's only one correct question away from the big prize. However, some, including those associated with the game show, question how someone like Jamal, a self confessed non-genius who grew up in the slums of Mumbai, can be doing so well on the show when others who are brighter, more educated and wealthier than him have failed. Is Jamal cheating? Is it purely luck that they have asked him the questions to which he knows the answers? Seeing Jamal's life journey to this point ultimately answers these questions. His life journey includes being orphaned at an early age; growing up with an older brother, Salim, who was both his guardian/protector and antagonist; and having a relationship since childhood with another orphaned child, a girl named Latika. His motivation for being on the show also may provide some answers to his success. Perhaps it was all just meant to be
but one similar movie released in Malayalam two years back? |

Why Goverment will tracing fund for Satyam?
Satyam founder B Ramalinga Raju claimed on January 7 that he orchestrated a doctoring of the company’s books to inflate sales, profits and cash balances in a fraud estimated at over Rs 7,000 crore. But investigating agencies suspect that much of the money actually existed and could have been diverted to buy assets in India or overseas. The Rajus have been aggressively buying up tracts of land in Hyderabad and other parts of Andhra as they scale up operations of the debt-laden Maytas twins that have been at the centre of the raging controversy over appalling corporate governance standards at Satyam Computer Services. Maytas Infra — a company that is actually three years older than the software giant and originally called Satyam Construction — has already bought 5.7 acres in the heart of the city. It proposes to develop one lakh square feet of space to house a five-star hotel, luxury apartments and a high-end retail enclave. But the jewel in the Maytas crown is the Rs 11,818-crore Hyderabad metro rail project. Maytas Infra fought off other bidders with an audacious bid. It offered to pay a revenue of Rs 30,311 crore over the 35-year concession for the project. In contrast, other bidders such as Essar and Reliance were seeking a grant from the state government of around Rs 3,000 crore to bridge a viability funding gap. When the deal was struck, it was hailed as a landmark financing model for infrastructure projects. That model is now in shreds as the Rajus scramble to raise funds before the March 2009 deadline. Navbharat Constructions, its consortium ally in the metro project, has said it would not stump up its share of the funds, creating liquidity problems for Maytas Infra. More trouble erupted last week when P.K. Madhav, chief executive officer of Maytas, was arrested on charges of financial fraud in a different case — Nagarjuna Finance. The Maytas consortium has also bagged a Rs 1,255-crore project to develop a modern port 30 km from Machillipatnam that will handle 12 million tonnes of cargo. Amid the raging controversy, the Andhra government has granted Maytas a Rs 121-crore project to construct a 30km stretch between Mangapatnam and Sugumanchipalli in Kadapa district. Satyam has also cornered 30 acres of land on the outskirts of Hyderabad to set up an institute to establish mobile hospitals and ambulance networks across Andhra and six other states. According to the records, Maytas Properties owns 6,800 acres in and around Hyderabad. |

I have one query regarding roaming on EV-DO. I read (in the other forum) that we can use EV-DO over the entire state. Is it true? And any idea of even a tentative time span over which we can expect the device to support active roaming throughout the country.
I check it with two BSNL offices ( koramangala Bangalore) and (Vakathanam kerala)But i dont get a correct answer. In vakathanam exchange they heard it from me first and Koramangala they are repeating the word "Rs 550 unlimited" ![]() |
